Just wondering as I never have been to one, is the Dublin meeting on Saturday 15th as its Paddys weekend.
Am planning to go, all things going well, (hour and half from Dublin).

Maurice.

Hi there Maurice

You would be MOST welcome to the next meeting of the Dublin Chapter.
Because of the bank holiday weekend, we opted for Saturday 22nd March instead of the 15th.

All the news of the Dublin Chapter meetings can be found here:-

http://w11.zetaboards.com/IPMS_Ireland_Forum/topic/8199887/19/

The new venue is the Culture Box, at 12 East Essex Street in Temple Bar (near meeting house square and the Project arts theatre).

The meeting will be from 11 am till 1 pm, and - apart from the normal chat, discussion over models brought along etc., - Pat McGrath is going to give us a talk/demo on scratchbuilding urban dioramas.

The following meeting is scheduled for Saturday 12th April, in the same venue.

Cheers,

Philip

Hi Philip,

Is Pat's talk in addition to, or replacing Simon's talk on IDF schemes?

Instead of, I'm afraid. Simon isn't able to make it for the 22nd, so I asked Pat if could he do his talk on the 22nd, and he readily agreed. (Hopefully the IDF talk will be on April 12th, if Simon is free then.)

With a bit of luck, I might actually make this one!

@Philip - I'll have my IPMS Ireland Membership fee with me, if you could bring a card for me?

@Joe - I'll have the €10 for that book you've been keeping for me for months, if you could bring it?

@Pat - I'll also have the €8 for the book you're keeping for me!

Thanks...

J.

That's fine Jason - I have it printed up and laminated already, so will bring it along on the 22nd.

Glad to have you back!

Delighted to have met you on Saturday. It's great to have another person interested in Willy Messerschmitt's greatest creation - the 109!! (as they say, you can never have too many 109's!)

Loved your photo of the instrument panel kit - do please post up on the aircraft section of the forum, if you get the chance.

And many thanks for joining the club - I will send you on a membership car in the post tomorrow evening.

Best wishes,

Philip

Well spotted, Sean.

That's what comes of typing too fast (and a glass or two of Pinot Noir with Sunday dinner!). :-"
