Well the first hour has been spent doing up the chassis(I think).. carpet monster tried to strike a couple of times...an engine mount went flying into oblivion...searched for twenty minutes only to find it stuck to my shirt about an hour later !..so far so good without and major hitches... anyway progress shot...

Another 90 mins done...I can't believe how many parts go into vehicle building...the engine alone must have 20+ parts..I'm enjoying it though I must say..dunno if I'm going to paint it as it probably won't be seen!

It should not matter if it can be seen of not as long as you know that all the extra work you do is there, forever entombed within the dark recesses that is a 1/35 plastic engine bay, :>

Stage 1(I think) complete..sprayed with a couple of coats of anthracite which as you can see is still drying..finding it challenging for my clumsy fingers but enjoying it nonetheless..

Bit of an update..the chassis and everything went well but I'm having problems with the fit of the cab..especially the doors..there are some poorly thought out parts..the hinges on the doors are top of that list

Can it be left with the doors open?

It's looking good anyway

Heil Mickey!
Check direction of the tire patterns as well, before it's too late, seems to me they are all over the place, not saying that it never happened, though...

Come on Barry,
Just stick a couple of WW1 German markings on it and you are in business. Guarantee that no one will notice the missing steering wheel. :D ;)
Cheers

Right lads I'm calling her done...before anyone points out anything there are a few things sticking out..the wing mirror would not go on with the doors open as the light and snorkel? were in the way..I managed to get the steering wheel in after all! Also managed to correct all but one of the tyre thread directions..wipers were in bits and there was one door handle missing but all in all I'm happy enough with my first attempt at a target
