Some of these are wip's at various stages of completion and there is another bunch that I did not photograph as they are spread out all over the shed(too hard to dig out atm)
I reckon that there is over twice this amount in the deep stash!! :choco:
Note to self:- time to do a full iventory.

Nice haul there Vincent - a general predominance of RAF and USAF there, I notice - esp. Spitfires!

Inventories are a good idea - I have done an Excel Spreadsheet (that I designed myself) for the stash - current number (not counting those started) is 323.....

Might as well so.
I lived next door to a hobby shop for 5 years in the UK, where most of these came from (especially when it closed down)
Also got some from various airshows in the UK...and some bought here in Ireland.

Look again I see the USS Perry tucked away there,

There's also a Vincennes-class cruiser tucked away above the Perry.

@Michael - there's also a hydrofoil with the Perry...that's three ship kits! :-"

Cheers,

Wow guys,
Nice to see your collections, some great memories in there. Bit disappointed to see only three WW1 aircraft so far, a Revell SE5a and a Spad13 and an Eduard Nieuport 17.
Collections are very personal things. Mine is probably boring to most people as its 90% at least WW1 aircraft.
I'll hold my hand up to a collection / stash of about 450 +/ - 5%. I'm sure that all off you, when buy the kits that are now in your stash they were bought to build and not to end up as loft insulation. All the kits that I have were purchased to build, even when I purchased multiples of the same aircraft.
First photo below shows my total work area, an old PC table with my working tray on the keyboard drawer. Unfortunately I am loosing most of this area as my wife needs a filing cabinet for her work! Flat pack filing cabinet in the back ground.

The next few photos show my working stash in more detail. These are the aircraft that I would like to begin over the next 36 months.

FInally just to show that I do intend to build some targets.............

Hi Mike, before you start on the boats thing again, please note that there is a sub in there.
More photos of the rest of my stash to follow when I get a chance to sort them out.
Cheers All and as you can clearly see Stick & String really do Rule.

Joe! There's a "jet" in there.....that's more surprising that the sub or targets

And my humble stash:
Posted Image
Was surprised how much is in it. Some are started and put back in the box like the F1117 or sit on teh shelf of neglect like the SAM6 & USS Independance.
Missing from the photo is the massive 1/72 Revell Flower class corvette which is safely hiding in the attic.

Yeah, about the jet, I remember it well. It was a funny sort a day, the sun was actually shining! There were no clouds in the sky, as I said it was a funny sort of day! I don't know what came over me, possibly sunstroke?
I thought it looked kinda nice with the decals so, I know that this is hard to believe but I actually bought a jet!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose I can claim it has two wings, well at least one on either side of the fuselage. Can I claim it as a bi-plane???? Or am I stretching things a bit to much.
I think that I may actually have a Sabre some where else buried in my stash that I bought in a sale in Marks. I hasten to add that it was a sunny day as well.
Cheers

I don't know about you guys but I have my stash stashed in a few different locations. This is the stash that's on top of the wardrobe! will most likely move it up to the attic. And before you ask Philip NO you cannot have it.
As you can see Stick & String rules O.K. :bat:
Cheers
