Ryano

So as I promised in my introduction, here's my stash after a 4 week binge, from the day I bought my first model as an adult!

The aircraft:

The land vehicles:

All together: I had to squeeze into the corner of my room to fit them in a pic!!

This includes:

Airfix F-117 mini Kit
1/144 Dragon Air China 747-400SP cutaway kit
1/72 Airfix Vickers Valiant
1/72 Italeri G.22 Panda/c-27A Chuck
1/72 AZmodel LET - L60S
1/48 Academy Mirage III C
1/48 Academy F-117A Nighthawk last flight edition
1/48 Trumpeter C-48 Skytrain
1/32 Revell Eurofighter Typhoon Twin Seatr=er
1/32 Revell Mig-29 UB/gt
1/24 Airfix Supermarine Spitfire MK.Vb
1/24 Airfix Hawker Siddeley GR.3
1/24 Airfix Hawker Harrier FRS1

1/24 Hasegawa Mini Cooper Countryman
1/24 Revell 94 Impala
1/24 Revell Dupont Monte Carlo
1/24 Revell 53 Corvette roadster
1/24 Revell 41 Willys street rod
1/24 Revell 87 Buick Grand National
1/24 Tamiya Mugen CR-X
1/12 Tamiya YZR-M1
1/12 Tamiya Ducati 1999 Panigale
1/12 Hasegawa RS250RW
1/12 Revell Shelby GT500
1/12 Tamiya Datsun 240ZG

I'm ashamed to say I've bought all of these, along with a dual action HS-80 airbrush, and an AS186 compressor, having only built 4 of the €9.99 model cars from Marks! Needless to say herself is fuming  I've started on the academy f-117 though so I'll post progress!

Nice one Ryan, that's a great start, instant Stash! You can see why model shops stack them on top of each other and you can only see the edges of the boxes, saves on space!

Looking forward to seeing the F-117 come together...

That's a nice 'little' starter stash you have there Ryano, with a nice cross section of subjects, though your credit card must be in meltdown at this stage :-/ .
It will interesting to see how they all progress, time to break out the popcorn.
I took delivery of a Valiant myself today and very impressive it is too. :>

...and welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy yourself.

Cheers

Pat has a point actually, you already have enough kits to probably last at least two years, depending on how fast you build them! :)

Hi Ryan

nice stash you have there! No need (no doubt so says someone) to buy anything more for a long while. Yeah Right!

Listen lad - you have caught the disease. Welcome to the club (at least yours hasn't gone past the 100 mark...or the 300 (like me!) or the 500 (like......?))

I'd go for the big Spitfire next - it's a big box, and an even bigger model. If you can get away with displaying that, once finished (and I hear it's very nice!), then you can get away with anything.....

Cheers,

Philip

PS - welcome to the forum. Hope to see you at D3 (where, of course, there is a kitswop, and some very good traders - in case you have ideas about expanding the stash....)

That is quite a haul you have there... and quite varied as well.... the 1/24 Aircraft and 1/12 cars are each 12 month projects in themselves....have fun with them.
Veni, Vidi, Velcro...I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Have to agree with Mike, not one biplane, triplane or even monoplane from the early days.
I mean to say don't you know that Stick & String Rule O.K.
Well you are new to the forum, hopefully you will learn!
Cheers

Heil Mickey!
Some nice - and large - kits hiding in the boxes. I dig the classic American cars, they should look nice once put together and those big Harriers a head turners for sure...
You have a lot of work ahead of you. And fair play for throwing in the airbrush too.

( I thought I'd already replied but maybe didn't press ' Post')
The Datsun 240 Z would be my fave , serious class ,(I can vaguely remember ads for them as a kid )but my advice would be to buy a few tools , paints etc and get building .Stash building can be highly addictive and incurable in the extreme .SO FAR I seem lucky to have a kind of safety valve that I sell off most once I hit the 15/20 ish mark .You should def consider a compressor and airbrush .EDIT I see you have ,that's a good compressor and the airbrush is fine for at a year or two )
I think in any sport or past time it can be easy to splurge the cash but if you have the slightest sense you're losing enthusiasm it can seem discouraging to have made a considerable outlay ( think gym memberships!)- oh and as a racing cyclist ,the hammering you got on some hill always seemed worse on your 2000 euro plus lightweight bike than your old 200 euro ' Winter bike' / hacker .
Of course if you've just won the lotto or own a multinational corporation ignore most of the previous ramble !

Saw a lovely Honda CRX a couple weeks ago - so nice I had to go on donedeal for a dream ! But it ain't gonna happen ,my fast car days are behind me :-(
