Folks I dropped in to Graham Lenehan in Marks Models out in Greenogue Industrial Estate, Rathcoole, after the Dublin Chapter meeting today. Graham informed me that he is organising a techniques workshop on Tuesday week, November 25th, in the Marks Models premises there, from 7.30 pm till about 9.30 pm This is one of series of workshops that Graham has organised over the past year or so. His focus this time is on basic weathering, with particular reference to vehicles and AFV's. He intends to cover the use of washes, filters and pigments in weathering. There are limited places at this workshop (which is free), and you therefore need to book your place in advance . To do so, ring Graham on (01) 4124829 and let him know that you are interested in attending. Graham stressed that previous workshops were over-subscribed, so if you are interested, let him know as soon as possible. The workshops are open to all modellers, whether members of IPMS Ireland or not (but no harm in giving those in the club and on the forum prior notice!) Philip |

Well tonight went well. Lots was shown and models were bought! Des and Mark the pilot were at the meeting as well as Ger from the site showing off a very well made BTR APC and Tiger 1 heavy tank (Forgot to get pictures!) I did however get pictures of the armour Graham and myself brought along. It seems that these meet ups are going to become more regular possibly starting in the new year and will be about showing off a wide range of subjects![]() Grahams Italeri Sherman 1/35th ![]() Grahams Tamiya Tiger 1 1/48a th ![]() My own Revell T-34/76 (ex Matchbox) 1/76th ![]() Grahams Tamiya Crusader 1/48th Probably the prettiest tank ever made ![]() Graham (on the left) and my own (on the right) Tamiya 1/35th Panzer II a cheap and cheerful way to get into armour modelling. Easily the nicest kit I've ever made. ![]() And finally, all the lads
