Picked up mine today... it has the build of the Airfix 1/72 kit with aftermarket bits... it has a 2 page centrefold of the box art, it has a page of detail photos and it as several pages of history including a photo of 220 in flight with the nose machine guns and the MATRA rocket pods... the whole lot is in the center pages which makes separating easy...mine is already transferred to my reference folder |

I still get goosebumps seeing the IAC on cover of Airfix boxes/mag etc .Centre spreads can be quite larger in panorama than basic box art .The Do17 one includes two RAF fighters about to crash head on which isn't on the 'box art' .( Can't find it online ) |

The same Fouga box art is one of the Airfix calendar images.... I scanned it in work and printed it on A2 which I will put in a clip frame in my hobby room.... happy days |

Heil Mickey!

I got a copy of that mag from Telford... I think what happened, is,that they had 2 versions of the box art, and 'somehow forgot' to delete one of the Hurris. The front one is smaller than the rear one as well. |
