Folks

The date and venue for D4 - the IPMS Ireland Nationals 2015 - have now been decided by
the National Committee.

The event will be held on Saturday 26th September and Sunday 27th September 2015.

The venue will be the Plaza Hotel, Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24. This hotel is just beside the Square Shopping
Centre in Tallaght, at the junction of Belgard Road and the main Blessington Road (N81). It is served by Dublin Bus services
and is at the end of the LUAS red line. The hotel also has a large underground (and FREE) car park.

The times will be as follows:-

Saturday 26th 10 am to 5.30 pm

Sunday 27th 10 am to 3.30 pm. (to be followed by the IPMS Ireland AGM at 4 pm)

Competition Registration will be held, as last year, from 10 am till 1 pm on Saturday 26th, with judging taking place on the same
afternoon, and the awards ceremony will again begin at 3 pm on the Sunday.

Admission to the event is €3 per person, but those under 14 years of age are free, if accompanied by an adult. As is normal, all
paid-up members of IPMS Ireland (and other IPMS clubs worldwide) have free entry to the event on production of a current
membership card.

The competition is open to all modellers, whether members of IPMS or not, and the cost of competition entry will be the same as
last year - €3 per model.

We will have the very successful kitswop once again, and displays from the Dublin Chapter and the Mid-West Branch.

Traders will also be there, as in past years. Once these are confirmed, I will post up their details.

We look forward to seeing you there. In the meantime, put the date in your diaries.

Philip,
Hon. Secretary, IPMS ireland

Do you have to keep picking my Wedding Anniversary? :) That said, Tallaght is nice and handy for me, I'll just have to enter something (which means I'll have to build something first!)...

1 night B&B?

I've seen offers of 44 per night PPS, floating around, not sure if that was including breakfast

But for that particular night in that hotel Filip?? That would be good deal. I can cancel that booking up to 23rd of September 2015 without any consequence so plenty of time to change my mind ;)

Great choice guys. Easy to get too and a rather nice place too. Went to many a card game tournament there in my teens. Just one thing and probably not the right place to put it but oh well. At D3 it was still a busy and full show at 3pm, with people still coming in. Is there anyway of extending the opening time to 4pm?
Half 3 just seems slightly early.
Just my view given what the show was like in September.
