Interesting Curtiss C-46 Commando Article

I came across this article a couple of days ago. I thought it might interest some of you wingy thing afficionados! Reminded me a bit of Operation Solomon in 1991 when the Israelis airlifted about 14,000 Ethiopian Jews out of that country and transported them to Israel.

.....aehm...

It's not Airfix, but Revell and it's not Commando, but C-54, completely different manufacturer and totally different aircraft, but there you go :shrug:
