I came across this article a couple of days ago. I thought it might interest some of you wingy thing afficionados! Reminded me a bit of Operation Solomon in 1991 when the Israelis airlifted about 14,000 Ethiopian Jews out of that country and transported them to Israel. |

...and, I think, that Airfix announced Commando in their 'News for 2015' box ....eeeeeeh .....aehm... It's not Airfix, but Revell and it's not Commando, but C-54, completely different manufacturer and totally different aircraft, but there you go
