Well done IMSS !

So who were the big winners at the 2015 IMSS ?there were some huge models there including 1/24 Sea Harrier And 1/32 Gotha GIV Was the sci if diorama that won Best in Show at IPMS /D'?' in the reckoning again ? Anyone win anything nice in the raffle ?

Overall standard and number of entries seemed quite healthy .

Just read the Helldiver model accompanying 'article' .worth a prize in itself !( ( in the style of a kids story book -The Little Dive Bomber Who Could )

Oh and the small number of kids ( ie under SIXTEENS(?)) entries has got to be worrying although there was a girl who was rocking her Spits and tanks in a two tone pink scheme ...)

Sci Fi Diorama (called something like 'Rabora'?) won Gold and won another award as well, one of the awards given by a club I think...

Great pictures- thanks for adding them. There are some absolute crackers there- the 'Best of Show' is richly deserved- a very poised and emotive piece of work- even the expression on the faces of the horses- terrific. I see the quality of the busts has got better again this year- 'The Veteran' is a masterpiece- particularly the skin tone- I also like Captn Sapo (is it from a movie or something?)- the sheen on the skin and eyes is perfection! The Star Wars troopers with the land speeders are nice too- one in action and the other chilling with a magazine. There's a great Harrier in there too with the pilot standing by it. The Skyraider on the wooden effect deck with all the engine weathering on the side- thats a really well done piece. My favorite paint scheme has to be that on the Ukranian Flanker though- sharp and cool looking.

Well done to everyone who entered!

Would you believe Karl that ( I'm nearly certain ) that Flanker was 1/144 ?! There was a terrific selection of 1/144s present including two Iranian Phantoms , an irish Spit trainer and Fouga Magister .

Seriously? 1/144!!!! My jaw dropped when I read that- that re-defines the definition of expert paint-work. Anyone have any more pictures of it?
