Okay so here is a link to the google search for painting figures and busts. https://www.google.ie/search?q=painting+miniature+busts&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=FTHwVbyyO4Tm7gaaqamQBA https://www.google.ie/search?q=painting+figures&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=CTHwVaGCKYSM7QbXvrboDA#q=painting+miniature+figures There are also some great articles on the missing-lynx website http://www.missing-lynx.com/articles/articles_figures.htm If you want to take part in the campaign but are unsure what subject to pick I recommend having a look at the Masterbox and Miniart range most of which Dublin modellers can pick up in Walshie’s or Mark’s or from The Modeller’s Nook who will be trading at D4. I’m not sure if the HobbyDen carries much of a range of figures. For fantasy figures there is the Warhammer shop and Gamer’s World in Jervis Street For modeller’s outside Dublin and without a local hobby shop there is the internet- have a look , whatever your interests there is a figure or a bust out there to interest you. If you specifically want to try a bust then take a look on the Historex agents website- they can be expensive but there are some cheaper Napoleonic subjects in the Nemrod range http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxsearchresults.php?SupplierCode=&GrpKey=&DscKey=&SearchData=bust&ComingSoon=&PageNo=2 If you find any other useful links feel free to add to this thread |
