I have a WW2 Soviet Officer ( called Volume 1 version oddly - by Trumpeter I think , couldn't pass it in Marks at €12 instead of €18 due to tiny missing fret of etch - sight for PPSh and little else) I would in the future alright . |

That Vallejo alcohol soluble paint is pretty special even if I didnt get the best out of it .Little 'lumps' due to bad surface prep ,bad brush technique and no thinning (didnt have liquid alcohol only blue handgel).Prince August sell it , or at least the Old Gold and Super Silver (the copper isnt as good some reviews say).It dries super quick .Id say a skilled painter using it by airbrush -thinned- could get stunning results .It shimmers in the palette almost as if its alive! |
