Firstly I thought that I will use my current project as a entries, but after seeing Brian's post in the ruling thread, I have changed my mind. Brian's right, what's the point in starting yet another thread about the same subject? After all, those will be done and there's plenty of other half finished or temporarily abandoned bits of plastic all over the place. So, I have decided to enter 2 aircraft to this year's Arse kicking event

Both of those have started their lives as easy quick builds, but the tempo has slowed down, until progress stalled.
1st is Special Hobby, Fokker D.II. I was hoping to continue the 1914-18 theme and I like the look of it and I like as well, that it's not that commonly known aircraft. The kit itself is the traditional short run of early-ish SH provenience, some mould lines, bit of flash, some resin bits and it of filling and dry fitting and careful gluing throughout the build. There are modifications made to the original kit, but nothing too serious and I was making good progress on this one until the fuselage halves split open along the glue joint, when I pushed too hard making hole for the MG bracket. Off it went back to box and this is where it is now:

My 2nd entry is lovely, but old Fujimi kit of Japanese Army cooperation aircraft Ki-51 Sonia. It's being build for our branch Kamikaze GB and my intention is to build this one out of the box, with addition of some resin bombs and bomb racks, to represent aircraft just before its last journey.
There's nothing wrong with this one. It's sidetracked due to some other projects, that's all:

I wish to have at least one of these done before the end of this year, but Hetzer and Nashorn/Hummel are my priorities, so this could be the first and the last post of the whole thread

I won't be posting any updates on these two... Firstly, I am not getting enough of time to report anything unusual and secondly, I am not getting enough of time to do anything extraordinary on those two builds, just sanding, filling, sanding...
Can't see them being done on time anyway.
