Saw these 1/35 Styr and wondered are there any figures which could be used to depict Irish troops?

Not sure, It might be a case of getting a set of modern British or Americans and doing a bit of swapping around and little bit of putty work.
Could give Shamrock miniatures a shout and see if he has any of his Irish UN peacekeeper still. Actually I don't think that was 1/35th but it could be a good guide.

Probably not the scale you are intrested in but the 1/72 scale matchbox/revel nato paratroopers (which are actually british paras) could be used as 1980s irish troops due to having 58 pattern webbing and mostly the same weapons, smg aside.
