To prepare for some one to one scale painting ie. painting the bedroom walls and ceiling I had to clean off the top of the wardrobe. I knew that there was a fair bit of stuff up there. So.............after a lot of cleaning this is what I ended up with.

These were the model kits that I found;

Some metal models, the aircraft were from either the Del Prado range, the Bus was purchased in Malta and depicts one of their old buses now sadly discontinued.

This I had completely forgotten about, a rubber powered Fokker Triplane.

I had actually been looking for this a few months ago but gave up thinking I had given it away. Just waiting for someone to say Go Fly Your Kite!

Ah come on, Joe! You didn't know you had all of these on top of a wardrobe?? Hardly believeable.... :O

(the rest of us use an attic....or a garden shed)

Just how big is your stash anyways??? (You can tell us, if not SWMBO) (promise - we won't tell... :dev: :dev: )

I have to agree with Philip on this one , it says "4 foot wingspan" on the box of that Fokker ! How big is the press it was hiding in ?

BTW you must have single handly kept Pegasus in business, nobody else I know owns one of their kits let alone builds them. Pff... :blink:

To each their own.

Hi Brian,
Not a press but a bank of wardrobes about 10 feet long with a type of pelmet around it so its difficult to see what's on top of it. Thankfully my wife just about makes it to 5 feet tall so she could not see exactly what was on top of said wardrobe! I knew what some of the stuff was but even I was surprised at what I found. The wooden parts of the spitfire covered the 4ft long kite and the elastic powered Fokker Triplane. I thought that I had given the kite away and had completely forgotten about the triplane, not to mention some of the models.
As for keeping Pegasus and Chris Gannon in business............

The white metal parts are not bad either, here are some of them.

Joe,
STOP building those - in fifty years they will be antiques and far more valuable. Might even be the basis of a pension. :)
