Anyone got any plans for Telford this year or is it a bit early to be thinking about it? I'm planning on going over on the Friday and staying 2 nights at the University of Wolverhampton. Will be bringing the car as usual if anyone wants things brought over and back.

Never too early to talk Telford Graham...

I'm hoping to go this year but might only be a quick one-day trip with Barry of Bear Bomber fame.... B-)

(Just remember to pack your own kits first this year!)

I am going - out on Friday, back on Monday. Accommodation at University booked. There are still single rooms available, at £42 a night B & B. All the double rooms are gone, though...

I will need to know, by the end of July, how many cars are going over, and also a rough indication of how many people, as I need (as IPMS Ireland Secretary) to do a formal return to the show organisers (ie, the Overseas Liaison Officer, Gary Wenko).

The number of people is not crucial, but the number of cars will dictate how many car passes we get for loading and unloading within the Telford International Centre car park for the Friday afternoon and the Sunday afternoon.

It was my first time two years ago and Joes last year ( he came home with a silver medal !!!!).You will LOVE it .Always good to have a bit too much than too little disposable cash for purchases ( then again how much would be too much at Telford ?!Lotto win - Super market trolley sweep for all your dream purchases would be full in under five minutes .I think we'd need at least a high roof , long wheelbase van .Having said that I don't think I spent much more than €40 either year and was delighted with my haul .

I'm wavering :-/ a family wedding on the Aran Islands is eating up any spare cash this year. So I have devised a cunning plan - Im gonna try to flog enough of my stash on eBay and here to get me to Telford. I'm a third of the way there already 😄

Have flights booked. Catching the 'Red Eye' Saturday with Ryan air and coming back on the 4.00 on Sunday.
I was told how brilliant it was but last year was my first visit. It was better than expectations. Decided to stay over night this year so have booked into the University Res with everybody else.
Have been saving all my hard earned pocked money for this so should has about 2/6 pence to spend. ;)
Seriously bring loads of dosh.
Cheers

Lots! Like Joe, last year was my first also. But I'll be a regular from now I hope. It really is an experience. And hope to have some pocket money left after our own Nationals. The lesson I took away last year is get in the kit-swap queue early....

Yes, get into kitswop queue by 9 am on the Saturday if you can. As IPMS members we can get in at 9 am through the turnstiles, but if you are coming on the Friday afternoon, you can get in to the venue from about 4 pm, with your IPMS Ireland membership card. - just say you are helping to set up our stand in the overseas section. Once this is set up, you can then get the armbands that allow you in to the halls on the Saturday morning from 7:45 till 8:45. That guarantees you an early spot in the kitswop queue!

Is anyone entering builds in competition this year and know what time kits need to be on the competition tables by?
