I'm contemplating submitting a couple of 1/144 into the competition. Anyone else inclined to do so? Looking at you, Joe...

I will probably be putting in at least one, possibly two, but they will not be biplanes, and won't be rigged. I will leave that kind of stuff to Joe and yourself.

All yours Mike, don't think that I'll make it this time. Heading off to Venice later on the next week. Wedding anniversary 39 years!
Good luck to all attending.
Cheers

Cool beans... it appears that they'll make 1/144 a separate category based on interest/entries.. so it'd be nice to show willing for the eyestrain scale

Just for clarity Mike -I have one finished already, which I had entered in the comp at D5. I have another half painted - I may finish it on time. (Hint - both have swastikas... :adolf: ). So if you, or indeed others, are entering also in the eyestrain scale, then they may well open up a separate category for us. So please go ahead, even if Joe will be otherside engaged in some stinky Italian canal.... :X

Cheers,

Philip

Apropos of this: we're driving up from Cork on the Thursday and coming back down Monday evening. There will be room in the wagon for a couple of bodies and any attached models if anyone needs a spin. We'll be M8/A1 all the way so won't be passing through Limerick or Dublin, sadly..

By "ruin my fun" you meant "completely and totally enhance my enjoyment of every living moment", right? (just in case Mrs. Graham reads this)

Folks

I have just got word from Chris Spalding that IPMS Ireland will have a display table at the NIMA show.

While the competition does not allow for proxy entries, there is no problem in relation to the club table with this. So, if you cannot go up yourself, but are willing to lend some models for display on the club table, it may well be possible for someone who is going to bring them for you (and bring them back!).

It would be nice to support the show with a good table full of models, so anyone who wants to bring some, please put up a post here, so we will know what we have. Also, if there are folks in the forum who cannot go but would like to display, please also post here and some of those going might be willing to step forward to bring them.

Thanks,

Philip

That's great Jason - thanks. It's sitting behind me in its box, carefully wrapped, since Telford.

(I may have stablemates for it, on the display.... :D .)
