Midsummer Murders last night, Headless Horseman, one of the blokes is building dioramas of famous battles in his play room. He's got some Jags and Aston Martins in his basement too...

In keeping with the 1916/WW1 trivia theme (or whatever this thread was originally about!) when building a WW2 German Z Klasse destroyer recently I was surprised to learn that Z10 was also called the Hans Lody after a German spy captured in Killarney after fleeing From Holyhead to Dunlaoghaire

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Hans_Lody

Fascinating story , real 39 Steps stuff.

Peter Cushing was a member of the British Model Soldier Society. I don't think he ever played a crazy modeller though

That's the one the British built, Japanese used for three years and eventually the Americans bombed. Funny how most people think differently about it. ......the power of Hollywood.

Great whistling song though. :-" :-" :-" :-"
