Wow. That brings back memories. It was where the Jervis centre is now. It tamiya and fujimi kits when no one else had them and i have a vague memory of the man hinself patrolling the aisle in case kids would handle the toys too much or open a box.

What was the kit and was the oroginal price on it?

Paddy Barrett's!!!....that's a blast from the past, I worked there for the summer sometime in the late 80's(probably '87) while I was in Bolton Street, by that time it was Paddy jnr that was running the business IIRC and the selection of model kits was limited to some revell bits and bobs. :D good times.
Curious as to the kit you got and the price, just to get and idea of how much the stash will be worth in years to come.

I would suggest the price would be 70p in £/pence as barretts would have been gone before the € was introduced in '02.

Paddy Barretts, I was only trying to think of the name of the shop the other day. I remember it from the late 50's early 60'S. A must go to shop when in Henry St.
Thanks for the memories. :>
Cheers
