Judging at D5; There's a man going round taking names

Over the next day or two I'll be messaging people here or on FB to ask them to volunteer as judges at D5.
If you've never done it before it's an excellent way to learn more about modelling. Newcomers will be put with experienced judges so don't worry on that score. The more judges we get the easier the judging is for everyone. Everyone will get a set of guidelines.
If anyone wants to jump in and volunteer before they're asked fire ahead

I think, based on previous years, that judging will begin immediately after registration for the competition finishes, which is 1 pm on the Saturday. Since the AGM will begin immediately after the show closes to the public at 5pm on the Saturday, we need to be finished by then.

Hi all,

I wonder if it would be possible to get feedback from judges who were involved in judging 1:72 jets out of the box?

I have been asked by one of the modellers with their models in this particular class about that, which I had no precise answer to, for obvious reasons. So just out of curiosity and to see if I got my explanation right. Any contact via PM or email appreciated.
Thanks :>

Filip,

I was privileged enough to be asked to judge the A04 class-Military, jets, 1/72 – 1/143 scale (SK) on the day, along with John.
I would be happy to provide feedback in respect of any of the models that were entered in the category(or A05 Military props) to any one that would like such feedback.
If any person wishes to PM me at their convenience and let me know which model was their entry, I will try and provide clarification and explanation to any questions they have.

Cheers

Just to say I judged with Radu yesterday and I learned a great deal from him - really, really helpful and informative.

I would gladly judge again next year if needed.

Cheers, Vincent, I'll pass it on, after all better to hear from the horse's mouth than from the middleman.
