Okidoki! Here we go again. This is the third year in a row.
Somethings are slightly different this year. I've had to get someone to help me this year.
Ken has kindly offered his help to me. Sadly I'm not going to be in a position to go to the Christmas meeting to take part in the exchange so I need to rework things slightly.
I have a handy dandy form to fill in this year. Please do fill it in it'll make the whole thing a million times easier this time round.

The kindle is open to IPMS, IMSS, Adhesion and NIMA members. Don't worry at this stage we all know each other very well. If there is any trouble I can sort it out. (This of course includes all branches of our little tree)
The spending limit is a minimum of 25 euro and has to be a new kit. (Look out for those bargains at Telford and your friendly local model shops)

Here is the link below.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfZjFIRj0ZhAcvmiWTU02CF2D6IpZHGBfJuwV80q23--ya1Ng/viewform?c=0&w=1

Please do fill it out and we'll inform you of who you've gotten in the kindle asap.

Oh one last thing. When you've filled in the form and submitted it, could you please leave a comment or pm me just so I know for sure.

Thanks everyone! If there's any questions do let me know.

Great to see you running this again Simon and glad you have help. I'm up for it, but do have a few questions if you don't mind.
1) Who is Adhesion?
2) your text above says minimum €25 while the former says up to, which implies maximum, €25. Can you clarify please?
3)You give different options for aircraft, but every thing else is very generic. Maybe leave it at free format text rather than defined options?

Cheers
Sean

Hi Sean

I’ve changed the form with the text from Simons email, as he is the person running the Kit Kindle. So as he has said, the spending limit is a minimum of 25 euro and has to be a new kit. (Look out for those bargains at Telford and your friendly local model shops)

I did put in more options for Aircraft, that is because I know more about that area. But to cover all bets I did put in a free text area called notes so you could put in your area of interest or any other notes.

Hey Sean,
Adhesion is a new club which is run by myself and Graham from Marks and was just created to add another chance for people to meet up for chats. Everyone is also a member of both the IPMS and IMSS.
Given the last two years people have usually gone well over 25 euro but it is at the end of the day only a small rule. I know you guys wouldn't just get someone a single Airfix kit for 10 euro so think of it as a formality more so than a hard rule.

€25 is plenty , I'd suggest anything in range €10-25 .It would be a shame if people felt priced out .I actually found it harder to choose something last year for €25 than for €20 previous years .Its a fair chunk of change and you want to make the right choice .Not everybody likes big kits either .Keep it flexible .

I made 25 the limit this year and last year to reflect the ongoing rise in prices of kits over the past two years. I base it off the RRP of your standard Airfix 1/48th aircraft. Making the right choice isn't difficult, we do know each other reasonably well and it doesn't have to be a big kit. It could easily be two Airfix kits out of that bit of change.
It's entirely up to yourselves to spend as much as you like. I know firsthand that people have broken the limit before. How would you feel about a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 25? Since this appears to be the biggest issue. 10 to 25 is the difference between a single 1/72nd aircraft and a 1/48th aircraft. Wouldn't be fair one person getting something worth a tenner when someone gets something worth 20.

Stephen is offloading some impressive kits for 15-20 yoyos -a-pop in 'For Sale' section, so there's your chance to take part in mentioned shenanigans and save a few bob along the way
