Well - just as the time for the group build finishes, I am declaring this (as they say in the building industry) "substantially complete".
(There are, in reality, a few very minor things to do, such as the formation lights, a couple of tiny touch-ups, and attaching the pitot tube
on the underside, but really the work is done.)

One of a squadron of P-51B's, provided by the USAAF to Michael Collins, Prime Minister of the the Irish Government, for the defence of Dublin
after Ireland joined the Allies at the end of 1942.

Revell kit, with ExtraTech etch cockpit accessories and seatbelts, and Quickboost resin exhausts, and with Max decals. Paints by Tamiya and
Mr Hobby (all acrylics)

It is not, by any means, up to competition standard, but then the whole purpose of this group build is to raise some questions in the minds of
onlookers at the club table in Telford, as well as having a bit of fun.

Many thanks for Murfv for a great idea, and congrats to all those others who finished, especially those who (unlike me) do a single kit at
a time, and therefore finished ages ago....
