Well Gents, bench time has been in short supply lately but I did manage to base coat her and start some of the detailing. Decals also applied.

Next up is a clear coat then lots more details and weathering.

Looks great Sean, brilliant idea.

Probably a bit late, but any way you could have axle 3 and 4 sitting slightly lower, to represent the turret/system weight?

Glen

On the bench:
1/35 AML-30 prototype
1/35 Djibouti BTR-60 with AML-90 turret
1/72 S-Models BMD w/scratch slat armour.
And about 100 other part built kits... ;)

Sorry for the delay in updating this build. It's all built now just needs weathering and lights , mirrors, tools and some stowage added

Really pleased with how it looks. To me at least the proportions look "right" if you know what I mean.

Glen, the tires have yet to go on. I might fill them with plaster and then have the back ones bulged more and sitting lower when it sets.

Sorted Peter. Don't know why the links didn't copy right from the phone. Damn technology!

I haven't heard of this technique. Have you done it before?

No Pat, but I read about it once 😁 I have enough old Strykers I can rob tyres off if it goes wrong....

Finally finished the Stryker ADV. Apologies for not keeping the build log up to date but with the PB woes and finding Flikr troublesome I've been posting more in the FB group than the forum recently. I shall rectify that going forward. Anyway, here we are, all done at last.

AFV Club M1128 hull with Ledgends A DATE conversion mounted on it. Painted with Mr Hobby Olive Drab and weathered with various washes, filters and pigments from AK, Mig and Tamiya
