Hi all,

Box art, decal schemes and some CAD images of Airfix's new issue of the Me-262 are now on the Airifx Workbench page. :choco:

Release is scheduled for later this Summer and looks like another terrific kit from them in this scale

Cheers,
Dermot

Eduard is using wide rake of artists... But, yeah, Airfix got it right with the new boxarts.

It looks great and I do like the Me-262, but sometimes it just feels like we're getting updated versions of the same kits, and other kits are crying out for re-molds. I get the financial/business reasons behind it of course, but still...

I bemoan Airfix making "safe" options as much as the next person.. but in all fairness, there is a definite need for a new tooling of a 1/72 Me262.. the current best one is the 80s Hasegawa or the late-90s Revell (which ain't great). But yes, I agree that there are a whole bunch of other less-famous kits in desperate need of a new-tool, too.
