Hi all, Box art, decal schemes and some CAD images of Airfix's new issue of the Me-262 are now on the Airifx Workbench page. Release is scheduled for later this Summer and looks like another terrific kit from them in this scale Cheers, Dermot |

Eduard is using wide rake of artists... But, yeah, Airfix got it right with the new boxarts. |

It looks great and I do like the Me-262, but sometimes it just feels like we're getting updated versions of the same kits, and other kits are crying out for re-molds. I get the financial/business reasons behind it of course, but still... |

I bemoan Airfix making "safe" options as much as the next person.. but in all fairness, there is a definite need for a new tooling of a 1/72 Me262.. the current best one is the 80s Hasegawa or the late-90s Revell (which ain't great). But yes, I agree that there are a whole bunch of other less-famous kits in desperate need of a new-tool, too. |
