Sorry for the delay in getting back to this, it's been a busy day.

It seems fairly clear to me that some forum and club members have concerns with how the club is being run, specifically with how the Nationals are being run. I have no problem at all with this concern being raised here.

I do however have a problem with both how it's being raised, and how it's being reacted to. We have Forum rules, and every single one of us agreed to them when we signed up to the forum. The rules themselves can be found here, but just to point out two of them:

- No Flaming
Do not attempt to fan the flames of an argument, stir the post or otherwise incite unrest. If you see an argument break out on the forum do not attempt to intervene. Use the report button to notify staff and it'll be taken care of.

- Be Nice!
I think this one is pretty obvious. Be nice and cordial to other members; excessive disgruntled behaviour, rudeness and downright abuse will not be tolerated. If commenting on someone's work be constructive, helpful and positive. If you're being light-hearted then use emoticons to help express that, that is what they're for.

If you don't like these rules, I suggest you either ask the Committee to change them, get used to me enforcing them, or stop breaking them. It's my job as Admin to enforce the rules we all agreed to. Please understand that I am saying this to ALL members of the forum, not just the ones involved in this thread (and not just one 'side' or the other of the 'discussion' in this thread).

As this issue seems to be centred on the Club, I thought about moving this thread to the Club Section, but considering that nearly everyone involved in the thread is a Club Member anyhow, I can't see that the thread would suddenly be more civil after being moved.

For those members who have a concern with how the Club or the Nationals are being run, or any other concern that can't be discussed in a civil manner, I honestly suggest you contact someone on the Committee to discuss it and ask them to raise it at the next Committee Meeting. Similarly, if you have a problem with how I'm administrating this forum, or with the forum rules, also please raise it with the Committee. Here are the Committee Members and their names on this forum, I'm sure they will be impartial and responsive to any issues raised; I know I will be:

Sean - 35th Scale
Joe - Joseph M
Gerry - Merlin
Philip - Prenton
Alan - The Bris
Pat - Parkadge
Jason - Jasonb

Thanks...
