Folks Here are some banners for D6 to put into your signatures, so as to help advertise the club's main modelling event for the year. Medium ![]() Small ![]() Smallest ![]() They are in different sizes to meet whatever the various fora require. (The smallest is, for example, designed to meet the rules for Britmodeller.) I have managed to put the medium one in my own signature, but cannot work out out how to post up the relevant codes in this message, so you can do the same. Therefore, I have sent a PM to Jason to see if he can help, and hopefully he can edit this message to put in the relevant codes for you to use also. Thanks, Philip Edited by Prenton, Apr 14 2017, 03:00 PM.

These are the codes you need Medium http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp88/Prenton/EVENTS/D6/banner%20for%20D6%20medium.jpg Small http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp88/Prenton/EVENTS/D6/banner%20for%20D6%20for%20fora%20small.jpg Smallest http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp88/Prenton/EVENTS/D6/banner%20for%20D6%20for%20fora%20very%20small.jpg Then copy the image tags below and put the code between them and that should work [img] [/img] Edited by Parkadge, Apr 14 2017, 03:33 PM.

Thanks Pat, but I couldn't get that to work. (looks like Barry tried it too, but only got a line of text, with the [img] on each side.). Can you give a step by step on how to use the links? It is possible, though, to click on the banner you want in my first post, which brings you to the photobucket photo, and then you can copy and paste the IMG code to the right of the photo into your signature. So basically, here's what you do: 1. Use your mouse to select the text of the banner you want to use, then right click on the text and choose 'Copy'. Say, for example, you want to use the smallest banner, you'd select and copy the following text: http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp88/Prenton/EVENTS/D6/banner%20for%20D6%20for%20fora%20very%20small.jpg 2. Move your mouse pointer over the word Preferences in the top right hand corner of the screen, and choose 'Change Signature' 3. Delete any text already in the 'Edit Signature' section of the screen, and type in the following: [img] 4. Then right click and choose paste, and the text of the banner you copied should appear after the word [img] 5. Then type [/img] after the text you copied, and click on Edit Signature for your signature to change. Obviously, this is how you change you signature on this forum, it'll be different in other fora, but the logic is the same, you're effectively putting the address of the image between the two img tags. Thanks... Edited by Jasonb, Apr 14 2017, 03:49 PM.

Okay this should work. I did this step by step in a post but of course it should all be done in the edit signature function 001 by Pat McGrath, on Flickr 002 by Pat McGrath, on Flickr 003 by Pat McGrath, on Flickr |
