Gentlemen, looking for some info. Have seen a few of these kits in 1/72, and while they seem very cheap, and have some interesting subjects, i have reasd bad reviews, was wondering if anyone has any input on this. Thanking you. |

Not worth the hassle .VERY rough .Considering the hours of pleasure a nice kit can provide ( and hell a bad one !) its best to avoid cheap and nasties like these and PM Models etc They MAY do some nice ones but by and large they're awful .Got a particular plane in mind ? By the way this doesn't mean you can't get fine or even very good kits for a bargain .New mould Airfix series 1s like the Mustang or Me109E are gorgeous .The Mistercraft can't be more than €2 or €3 cheaper ... Thanks for that, no one aircraft but they seem to do a lot of soviets, but as you say probably not worth it. Thanks for input. |

John I have had one or two of those Mister Craft kits, and they were poorly fitting and I ended up selling the ones that I hadn't opened. Like you, I thought that their range looked interesting. For example, they do the only RWD-8A, as used in the Spanish Civil War, so I bought it. It took me ages, and a lot of sanding, to get the parasol wings to line up with the cabane struts, in order to go on properly and at the correct angle. They also do a range of 109's (and as you may know, I have lots of 109's), but I bought one of them mainly for the particular decals (I think a G-6 of Bartels). I tried to make it up, and had difficulties getting the fuselage sides to line up correctly, and then the wing join was poor. I should have just used their decals on a better kit of the 109. So - my message is, don't bother. There are better kits out there, for not dissimilar prices. Philip |

Terrible kits, Worked on one of their Mustangs, gave up, not worth the hassle. They box kits as a particular variants, but quite often the parts inside will not build up as the variant stated, it's just the same sprues in 4 or 5 different boxes... I have to say I like their decals though, so if you see a kit really cheap, might be worth it for the decals alone? Cheers |

Well i got the ts-11 iskra yesterday (polish air force aerobatic team boxing) and a quick look suggests it will be a quick build and from whatvive tried "dry fitting" so far looks like a realy good kit...but then again the proof is in the pudding as they say and for €7.00 what can anyone truly expect. |

Try one out! Not like I sell them or anything.... No really, they're very worn out kits, but they do some weird subjects (Poles and French what more do you want) They are epic kits for basic modelling skills. Lots of detail to be added and work to be done. Well worth trying at least once. |
