Joe, please tell us you said 'Dakka dakka dakka' while you were sat there. Does this mean we've to call you Squadron Leader from now on?! Dermot Edited by Dermot, Apr 28 2017, 10:24 AM.

Sqn. Leader Biggles reporting for duty. I was at the AGM of Cross & Cockade over last weekend. First a quick visit to Hannant's London shop which is about 20 meters beyond the entrance to Hendon. After the AGM and a visit to the Graham White factory to see the WW1 stuff a very quick visit to one of the display halls followed. ![]() Now where's that second wing?? View from the cockpit looking to the right. ![]() Seemingly pilots didn't pull up the cockpit initially, this was the view out the window when taxiing. Now I know if I had a parachute on me I would be a bit higher but still.............. ![]() I saw the Spitfire and wandered over, as one does. How much to sit in it? WHAT only a tenner. Any time slots left I quickly asked, this was just going on 3.45 and I had to leave fairly soon! Well as it so happens he had had a cancellation for the 4.00 slot and it was mine if I wanted it. I never slipped a tenner out of the wallet so quickly. ![]() ![]() More to follow when I get a chance to upload onto photo bucket. Cheers Joe M Edited by Joseph M, Apr 28 2017, 10:31 PM.
