Hi everyone, Just wondering if you have any kits/subjects that you'd love to build, but haven't yet, either because it's not easy to get, or is too expensive, or you're waiting 'til the time is just right. I'd love to give one of the Wingnut Wings 1:32 aircraft a go (Yes, Joe, sticks and strings!). Any review I've seen of this series just shows outstanding quality and detail in the plastic, with brilliant instructions that include colour photos showing detail of restored aircraft etc. Of course , the approx. €100 price tag is a little off-putting, but maybe one day! Anyone else have 'maybe one day' kits? |

I might sound strange...but I am happy with what I have Aircraft: - IAC - WWI 'Black Crosses' SPGs: - German WWII Cars: - KdF Wagen/early VW ...and the odd Egg anything I would like to get my hands on some of the floating Hansa-Brandenburgs and Etrich Taube though, but that's within the limits of the above ![]() BTW, Jason, 100 yoyos is just about the average combined price of any of my builds

I've probably spent €100 once Filip, for the Moebius Galactica with the PE Set and full decals. But first it didn't feel too bad as it wasn't just for the kit, but for the extras too. And secondly I was building it as a gift, so that 'justified' it somewhat. Paying €100 for 'just' a kit for myself would be hard, even a kit of such good quality with PE and Decals in the box. Not saying it won't happen some day, but I'd really be spoiling myself! |

I know what you're saying. I have issues to fork out more than 50 yoyos for a kit. It doesn't feel that bad when you spent double - and more - on jewellery and add ons, to go with the kit, over time it sits in the box on the shelf |

I have a Resicast full resin and etch kit of the 1914 Rolls Royce armoured car that I've been putting off since I bought it for over £100 sterling in 2008. It's the complexity of the build and the unclear instructions that is putting me off. I do have a hankering for a Wingnut Wings Albatros too |

I have a Monogram B-58 Hustler in 1/48th in the stash with a load of aftermarket for it and I'm very keen to build it, but I want to build a few more kits first as I reckon it will be a long project |

I would love! to build an USS Independence class carrier and modify it as the Spanish aircraft carrier "Dedalo" but this would be really expensive plus I don't even know if I would be able to find the right decals for the deck

Hi Jason I have a 1/48th scale Junkers Ju 52 airliner that I purchased from a guy on Britmodeller many years ago for £20. It's the larger version, complete with 1936 Olympic Lufthansa decals, of the 1/144th scale Ju 52 that I had on display at our own show and the IMSS show a few weeks back. Trouble is - I have nowhere to store it, if I made it, as it is HUGE. So it has been sitting in the attic for a while.... Philip |

One of the most expensive kits I bought and never built was a 1:48 Fokker G1 by Resin Cast ( I think). I bought this probably 15 years ago. These were limited edition and as rare as hens teeth. Anyway my old buddy Willem van de Jagt wanted this kit really badly but of course couldn't find it anywhere. So when his family threw him a 70 birthday party he got his Fokker G1 as a present from myself and the rest of his modelling buddies and the look on his face when he opened it was priceless. |

Nice idea for a post Jason. While I have a few of the smaller and cheaper versions, the Revell Master Series Millennium Falcon would be near to top of my list. 900 parts and probably the closest thing to a screen accurate version. Let's not discuss price! Maybe some day!! Dermot |

Nice choice Dermot and yeah for that price I just got those other three kits. But is this now not surpassed in price and detail by the kit by Deagostini? Which is tempting along with R2, but think I have all the kits I'd like to build and can afford
