just curious if anyone has tried this (assuming the drawing are the EXACT size of the model...cutting the camo pattern from the printing guide in the instructions and using bluetack to affix them to the model

I tried it once on a Tamiya 1:48th kit of an RAF aircraft, which gave, as part of the instructions, a to scale camo drawing. Wings worked fine, but I had to do a bit of work on the fuselage.

hi there i do it all the time, but beware of spray creeping under the mask if the blu tack is holding it too high off the model. Also as Philip mentioned the tricky fuselage you are only getting a 2D scheme so you need to add the bits yourself for the curvature of the model. the Hellcat i brought to the meeting was done this way.
