Having at last got the A-10 finished I plan to move onto this neat Hobby Boss kit of a Wildcat floatplane, hopefully it will be a straightforward build!![]()

Thanks guys! Already made a start on it today, not that many parts so hopefully I should make good progress on it. I believe only one was made, early in the war when they thought they would have no air support on some islands without floatplanes, but because the Army engineers were able to get airstrips set up on captured islands very quickly, and also because it was way slower than the already relatively slow Wildcat, the project was cancelled after only one was built. Pretty much the only markings on it are the US stars so I'll most likely paint those on. |

Thanks Dermot, it should not take too much longer (famous last words...) as it's a pretty simple kit, so I hope to get it done soon. |
