Got quite a bit done over the weekend.

Filled and sanded the cabane struts and started on the headrest. The base is from the first failed fuselage mold, which has proven to be extremely useful over the build. Just need to sheet it over attach it and paint it.

Rigging underside and upperside. All the wires laid in, just need to tension, glue and trim them. Done this way they're actually structural. I'm also struck by how complicated the whole assembly looks at this stage.

How it looks overall. Repainted the propeller. Removed the seat as it was too low in the cockpit, have to make a spacer and reattach it. then it'sjust the rigging, the headrest and some touching up and it's finished :).

Didn't get to do quite as much as I'd planned over the weekend, I also spent more time on the Mig, however I did get the headrest almost done, just needs tiny a bit more filling and sanding. Overall just need to tension the rigging, refit the seat, finish the headrest and some touchup and its done.

Wow, fair play to ya Mark.
It's hard enough building a kit, let alone building one from scratch.

Show it off all you want!
