This is my second build for the Cars Group build and went together so fast I only started to take photos when it was almost built. Kubelwagen 2018-02-18_11-23-07 It's a smashing kit to build and it won't be the last one I do. Hopefully I can get it finished before the end of the campaign on the 4th of March and then I can get stuck into My M113 for the Vietnam group build More and better pictures tomorrow Edited by Parkadge, Feb 19 2018, 07:18 PM.

Looks nicely scruffy. How did you do the weathering? |

I put a coat of undiluted burnt umber oil paint over the dunkegelb basecoat and then removed most of it with a tissue and a clean paintbrush |

Just the windscreen to fit and the spare wheel which I think, - hope, is under the sofa after falling to the floor last night 20180222_092313Searching the spares box for spare heads for the crew. The Miniart building is just for the photos The final plan is have it on a country road 20180222_092257 Hmmm right front wheel floating a bit- have to fix that |

Here is my idea for a little dio with a dead cow from Mk35 and the Kubelwagen. It depicts the Kubelwagen in a narrow country boreen block by a dead cow. There'll be a high hedge on the back of the dio. The original title was going to be "IF WE CAN'T GO ROUND AND WE CAN'T GO THROUGH IT WE'LL HAVE TO EAT IT" but that's a bit too unwieldy so it's going to be called ROAD BLOCK. 20180222_170153 20180222_170134 I think I might add an inch or so to either end of the base though Edited by Parkadge, Feb 22 2018, 09:16 PM.

Love it Pat! You could use the longer title and write/paint the first part of the title on one side of the base, the middle part on the next side of the base and the final part of the title on the next side! Or go with a snowy/winter scene and call it 'Move it, it's bloody Friesian!'. I'll get my coat... |

Amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it. A final burst and I got the decals on - just the number plates. I'll eventually complete the dio but for now it's done 20180303_170712 20180303_170530 20180303_170653 20180303_170712 20180303_170742 20180303_170827 20180303_170803 20180303_170748
