To be honest I only suggested cars because there was a lack of group build proposals at the time :D and I did think Scifi were going to edge through ahead of cars but it went through in the end. We lost a few and not everyone finished along the way but that happens and I've been guilty of dropping out and not finishing group builds myself.

The Gallery does have 9 finished entries- two of them mine so that makes eight members finishing which is pretty good as group builds go

The GB was top heavy with military cars but we did get two very nice civilian entries

Jason's 1/24 Revell Porsche 962C with some intricate decals that would have defeated me

and Graham's Revell 1/32 VW Buggy which I still think would have looked better with a .50 Cal machine gun added :D

Stephen was one of the first to finish with his 1/35 WW2 VW beetle in Afrika Korps colours

Mick entry was the more modern Trumpeter 1/35 Type 73 Shin jeep

Pete also built a JDGSF vehicle, a 1/35 LAV

Brosallman built the Miniart 1:35 Bantam Jeep out of the box

Dermot in a change of scale built a 1/72 scale Schwimmwagen by Academy

and I managed to finish two cars both in 1/35 and both Tamiya Their Kubelwagen and their Citroen Traction Avant

Nice one Pat, it was a good GB. Though next time I'm going to follow the crowd and do one that can be weathered, instead of trying to get it all clean and shiny! :)

Cheers Pat, really enjoyed this GB.

Next time, I'm going to choose a build that can't be weathered and will be all clean and shiny! :choco:

All the best,
Dermot
