Greetings!

Remember that time 19 years ago when we inadvertently lost the moon? Well here is my homage to that time.

Having washed all the parts I started putting a few things together last night.

Not sure this really belongs in the sci-fi category because this actually happened. I saw it on TV so it probably belongs under the heading documentary really.

I remember a rerun of that history program well. It such a shame we cant build technology like that any more.

Looking forward to your homage to mans days of glory past when travelling in space was an elegant time.

That's a bit of nostalgia, Graham! I remember the show....and the kit (is this a re-pop of the venerable Airfix kit?)

Martin Landau, as I recall, was a prominent actor in the show, and was cast after he had finished a 3-year stint in Mission Impossible (which also starred - if that's the right word - one Leonard Nimoy, after Landau left). So it's definitely a proper sci-fi group build entrant, as far as I am concerned.

Ahh the nostalgia. I used to be a fan even though it was a bit naff, it did have it's moments. Looking forward to the build.

It is the old Airfix kit Philip. Which actually started out life as a Fundimension kit in 1975. The new box version I have is from 1998.
