Good meeting today I thought. Lots of interesting discussions.
Yup, another great meeting. Great venue, great attendance and lots of models on display. 2 hours nearly isn't enough to chat to everyone.

Pats 1/72 Albatros for the WW1 GB

Seans Battlestar Galactica from Revell, an impressive job and looking forward to seeing it finished.

A pair of the new Airfix 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.1 kits, the one on the left still needs some work(canopy/prop/undercart) whice the one on the right just needs a bit of weathering.

Philips WIP 1/72 Italeri JU-52 in Spanish Civil War scheme, quite a sizeable model.

A pair for of Dons 1/144 airliners, and early Aer Lingus 737 and a Viscount(I think?) the white/bright colours did not work too well with the camera on the phone, sorry.

Thanks for the photos, Vincent. I had my camera with me but was so engrossed in the chat that I never managed to take any shots at all.

Hi folks

The next meeting of the Dublin Chapter will be in the Culture Box on May 31st.

Apart from the usual chat about things plastic, and show and tell about models brought along, Vincent Murphy (murfv) will be giving us a demo on airbrushing.

Thanks Vincent :>

Times are from 11 am till 1 pm, as normal. Tea/coffee and biccies are also on offer... :choco:

As always, all are welcome (even those from outside the Pale!).

None of my business, but why don't you - all the ''I'd like to have an airbrush'' people throw a few bob together and get an airbrush and air compressor - or air compressor itself, as it's the most expensive item from those two - on some sort of share ownership basis?

We have our branch airbrush and air compressor for use by our branch members, although most of them do have their own tools, but it's a nice item to have if someone want's to give it a go.
