Hi everyone and another good turnout today. Plenty of kits on show, stuff to read and unbuilt kits to fondle study...

Some photos follow, happy to clear up any names, etc

Jack's Israeli Centurion

Posted Image

And probably the first ever tank built in a theatre, Pat's T-38

Posted Image

And the insanely small bicycle, also by Pat.

Posted Image

Small scale armour...sorry, don't know who by. The LRDG truck and Stug were my favourites.

Posted Image

Cool Starfighter cockpit, by Maurice

Posted Image

Joe's Fokker Triplane in 1/144...very tidy work

Posted Image

Also by Joe, his WIP Potez bomber for Spanish Civil War GB, this in 1/72.

Posted Image

On to 1/48, a Romanian 109 and cool Ta-152 Torpedo Bomber prototype, both by Stephen..

Posted Image

Posted Image

A really nice Bf-108 WIP, also in 1/48 by Vincent (?)

Posted Image

And finally in 1/72, Vincent's Sptifire..

Posted Image

My Tucano, blending in with the table..

Posted Image

And a really sweet Zero, also by Maurice.

Posted Image

Next Dublin meet is 12 September I think..

Until the next time, enjoy your modelling.

Thanks Dermot. That is very quick! I may not need to put up my photos, as you have probably covered them all. Yes - An excellent gathering , seeing as we are still in the 'summer' time......17 in attendance. And you are right, the next Dublin Chapter meeting will be on Saturday September 12th.

I really enjoyed the meeting yesterday all the more so as I had missed the previous two.
I always find that my modelling mojo gets a boost after the meeting.
Looking forward to September.

BTW I brought my copy of the new Airfix Magazine(August September '15) to the meeting and appear to have come home without it, if anyone who was in attendance happened to have picked it up and brought it home with them maybe they could let me know and I can arrange to retrieve it, thanks.

Yes def feel a modelling boost after every meeting .I think we need a 'free stuff' table/corner to avoid mix ups like the one that seems to have happened .I normally try stick a 'post it' on stuff .Getting harder to shift 'unwanted clutter/valuable resource material ' lately !

Above returned home with me yesterday despite best efforts and looking for a new home .Feel free to PM to reserve it for next months meeting .

John - a free book??? Yes please!
Yes, good idea to have a separate area/table for items to sell/give away, separate from those which are just to show.....

REMINDER

The next Dublin Chapter meeting will be on Saturday 12th September, in the Lab in Foley Street, from 11 am till 1 pm.

Apart from the normal show and tell of models, and chat about things plastic, we will be giving an opportunity to any who wish to give a "once-over" of any kits that are
proposed to be entered in the competition at D 4 on 26th September, thereby hopefully seeing any little items that may need improvement/enchancement in good time.

We will also have copies of the class categories and rules for the competition, and copies of the competition registration form for folks who wish to enter the competition.

We will also be planning our own Dublin Chapter table for D 4.

Hope to see you there..

Philip

PS - there is the possibility of some fashion as well ;) :zip:

Des - no problem with the competition registration forms - I'll have a bundle with me at the meeting.

These's no need to register models for the club table - I just need to get an idea of what's coming so as to give everyone who wants to exhibit on the table a fair share.

See you Saturday.
