Actually no, the December 19th meeting will be in the usual place, the Lab in Foley Street.

Perhaps adjourning to a local hostelry afterwards?

Somewhere with good grub ?Then again maybe we could have our culinary outing after the Kildare HobbyDen December 5 event ....?Take in the new MCL Newbridge retail place too ? Many thinking of going ? Looks good to me .Hobbyden seems to have quite a bit of stuff modellers crave like Mig Ammo , Mr Surfacer ,Greenstuff ( once got a foot of it by EBay and lost the darn stuff before I got to try it ) etc .Postage savings could be significant ...and always an interesting range of kits some very keenly priced.

I know one place nearby on Talbot street.

On the 5th December outing....I suggest that you raise the idea, john, at the Dublin Chapter meeting tomorrow. Unfortunately, I will miss the Hobby Den day, as I will be out of the country, but it's a good idea.

Some of those pics are most welcome as they're bigger than actual models eg excellent P51 and T34 by Maurice and Jason .Even the T-Rexs face wasn't that easy to see from 'far away'.Great job by Des and daughter .Great collection of model(lers) at meeting today .Always makes me want to go straight home and do a bit meself , although I decided rather than wait the 40 minutes for the train ( not enough time to make it round to any of the model shops ) to walk home to Leixlip . Once over the Summer I did ' both directions' , practically a full marathon , healthiest hobby ever ?!

That black Me 262 is mine - and yes, it is an undercoat for a NMF finish. I will be trying out the new AK metallics that I purchased at Telford on it.

Great meeting - 21 modellers in attendance (20 adults and one daughter, complete with T-Rex)

Thanks for the excellent photos, Dermot.

The next meeting will be on 19th December, same time, same place, but we intend to go onwards after 1 pm to a local hostelry for some bevvies and some grub, so keep that in mind if you are intending to use private transport....
