Good turnout in the end .Seven off us ( about half those present ?) went to Le Bon Crubeen for food and three off us even ventured as far as Walshies new place where I was extremely happy to pick up a 1/32 Revell Bf109G4 Trop which turned out to contain TWO of the Hasegawa moulds with two sets of decals for €20 .This clearly doesn't break my "no new models until I finish at least one of my seven simultaneous projects"(a single small Warhammer figure can hardly qualify as a shelf queen ?) as it is an 'investment'!

Nice purchase, John. Sorry to have missed it.

Hope that someone took some photos (of the Chapter meeting, not the meal in Le Bon Crubeen)

Good turnout:18.5 in attendance. Not too many kits on the table but lots of Kit Krindles changing hands. Thanks Barry for another ship, Reveals 1/300 Modern German frigate, and thanks Simon & Ken for arranging

Enjoyed the meeting today it was a good turnout after all my favourites on the table was gerrys 109 was a little beauty in 1:72 lovely scheme and finish on it. Pats Rommel/yoda was very good can't wait to see it painted up and Barrys batmobile complete with figures was great might have to pick one up as an apology build for my uncle whose one I smashed up when I was a kid. Also got my kit kindle present off gertney a lovely HS 126 from italerie so tanks gerry for the kit also the food was nice afterwards nice place good find John I'll be back there with the missus for a bite soon.
So happy Xmas to everyone hope yous have a good one see yous in the new year :>

The Maketar masks I used on the Heinkel to paint on the national markings are on sale at the moment, 35% off on everything on their website: Maketar Masks

I've bought directly from them a few times and find them good, but typically it takes 2-3 weeks for the stuff to get from Serbia to Ireland.

REMINDER

The next meeting of the Dublin Chapter will be on next Saturday, January 7th in the Lab in Foley Street, from 11 am till 1 pm.

Apart from our usual show and tell of models made, under construction and recently purchased (or gifted to us), Dermot will be there with his laptop to provide a "helpdesk" for those members who may need help or tips about joining the forum, creating threads etc, and - most importantly - how to save and post up photographs. (Thanks Dermot :> )

Also, I will be bringing along nice new shiny 2017 IPMS Ireland membership cards for those members who let me know in advance that they are coming (and who bring their money for the subs....). I already have a list of 8 people, but if you intend being there and want to renew, and haven't yet told me, then please send me a PM or an e-mail by Friday lunchtime, and I will arrange to have your card for you on next Saturday.

Cheers,

Philip

Hi Jason

You can bring the cash with you on Saturday - saves paying the Paypal fee....I will bring your card for you (and the kit you lent me for Telford).

Philip

If you do wish to pay by paypal, you pay as a "gift", to ipmsfourprovinces@hotmail.com. If you do it that way, please bring in a print-out of your Paypal receipt...
