The annual general meeting wherein club members elect the next years committee and also discuss and vote on any motions raised.

My favourite, by far, is the starship built out of a Super Soaker.

I reckon the man with the 1930s Soviet stuff, stole the show again .Amazing.How does he do the corrugated metal so realistically? But of course there WAS so much to choose from again. The Tiger Meet Tornado was lovely too.

The paper ships in the branches room were also stunning. During my stint on the door I had discussions with 3 different gentlemen about the lack of a paper category. I think for next year we should have this as a seperate category (paper only or just non-plastic) and will be proposing same to committee.

Well worth the trip down from Derry. Very impressed with standard of your models everyone. I'll post a YouTube video of the models over the next few days.

Yes the paper ships were awesome ,their flags were actually fluttering gracefully in the draught inside the club display room door ! If that's not scale realism I don't know what is !

Had a great day yesterday at the show brought the wife and daughter who really enjoyed it aswell some great models on display . Also picked up a few tips anyone I asked was very helpful I'm looking forward to the next one and hopefully enter something also got invited to the Dublin branch meeting next month will definitely try to make it. my daughter spotted the pink spitfire so I ended up buying 2 kits 1/48 off Paul Walsh at a good price . Made her day getting the plane now just have to get building it with her which I'm looking forward to. All in all a great day.
