Hah. No reason why Michael can't go on and form up a branch in Sligo. All he needs is another 2 members and regular meetings and away he goes....
He doesn't, Liam. That suggestion didn't pass, as yet anyway.
So, Michael could, theoretically, be a Branch :adolf: More in said 'Club Business' section :off:

I'm speaking with Roger Andrews from the IPMS Belfast club about how I would start a Derry branch. I'll let you know how I get on. Sorry to post here, could you direct me to the correct location? Still waiting for my video of Saturday to convert, I'll try and post it soon.

Fantastic film Liam- a real cracker!

I just wanted to say what a great weekend it was at the Nationals. The quality of the entries was top class- I reckon, as Philip mentioned when announcing the winners, the judges would have had their work cut out for them in choosing! Congratulations to everyone who entered and everyone who won something. Also many thanks to the vendors, the hotel and of course the IPMS guys for organizing the whole thing!

Khitomer - that is a GREAT video. Apart from all of the models shown, it is great to glimpse some expert judges at work, pointing out the salient features of a kit under consideration...

It was a pleasure to attend, should have introduced myself a little more but the only person I spoke to was Sean (35th-scale). Hope you all enjoy the video, the least I can do to repay your show. Hoping to get a NW club going, perhaps compete next year!

To have missed a fellow Trekkie - or a least a Trekker...Darn....

Hope to see you at a future show...you do know that there were only 4 entries in the SFI-FI class. We might try to increase that for D3, surely.....

In the meantime, there is plenty of time for the Sci-fi Group Build - ends on 18th December.

Can I ask what music you used? The first two sound like James Horner... The Rocketeer and Star Trek? The third sounds like a comedy with military vibe... Stripes or Private Benjamin?

Well spotted, tracks are, The Rocketeer, Battle Beyond the Stars and 1941. Collecting soundtracks is one of my numerous other hobbies!

As a matter of interest did I miss the posting of the competition results of the Nationals ....I don't recall seeing them.
Even though I couldn't attend I am curious as to see what was the best model in each categrory.

Regards
