You probably haven't sat down and analysed the show yet- what with the other distractions in your life :) but will you be thinking about rearranging the classes? There were enough ships and boats for a class of their own no?

We will have to look at the classes more in detail sometime yearly next year, nevertheless, I think, personally, that we'll keep the class break down as it is now for another year. I think, that it might be premature to jump to conclusions on the base of one show - there is no pattern or trend visible as yet, but it's up to every one in the Branch to have their say on it.
Having said that, I would like to see separate class for Figures, busts and Warhammer.

Surprisingly we had enough of 1/72 scale aircraft, but armour was short, 3 figures/busts, miscellaneous class was busy enough too with variety of subjects - 4space craft/sci-fi, 2 beautiful trucks, 1 what-if, 2 trains and lots of boats, just from top of my head.

But, the show marked end of an era for many of the models on the tables as those can not not be entered into any other shows anymore, as their round is over, including those boats and ships. They will not be there next year, definitely not in those numbers. I think that next year's show will be the interesting one as new entries will be required from entrants...

I'll post numbers in individual classes later.

So, as promised, the break down of models in individual classes is:

A - 23 /!/
B - 12 /all models 1:72
C - 13 /9 models 1:48, 3 models 1:32, 1 model 1:24/
D - 15 /1 model 1:48, 4 models 1:72, 10 models 1:35/
E - 9 /2 figures, 1 bust, 6 dioramas-vignettes/
F - 17 /9 boats, 2 trucks, 1 what-if aircraft, 2 trains, 3 space-sci-fi/

As it stands now, I don't see any need for radical changes in the breakdown of classes, but we'll se during the year. The only change I would make is to include aircraft and vehicles in 'what-if' schemes into their appropriate classes rather than leave them between 'Miscellaneous...'
As I've said, it all will be looked at by members of Limerick / Shannon Branch during our meetings and suggestions from all are most welcome.
