Evening everyone,

I had originally posted this in modelling events but started a new thread here, as it's probably more suited to Leinster-based modellers. Here's the reply from the show organisers;

Hi Dermot,

Many thanks for enquiry. We would be able to offer you 6 feet of table space at our exhibition. As you are a non-commercial club, there would be no charge.

As you will be aware, our exhibition will be over three days (Sat October 26th, Sun 27th & Mon 28th) and open from 11am to 5pm each day and your stand would need to be manned during these times. We will make available 2/3 lunch and afternoon tea vouchers for your members each day. Should you wish to make a donation
towards the cost of meals that will be welcome, but at your discretion.

Please let me know as soon as possible if we should reserve six feet of space for you, along with a suitable table.

Regards,

Paul Daly,
Exhibition Manager,
South Dublin Model Railway Club

Anyone interested in being there and on a club table for some of (or part of) that weekend? The venue is Blackrock College and as far as I'm aware there's free parking in the school.

I can certainly do one day that weekend while my two boys explore the trains...

All the best,
Dermot

Is the Monday a bank holiday? Seems an odd day to host a show otherwise. I might be available over the weekend.

Hi fellas and thanks for the replies

With only a couple of names for this, I might knock it on the head. Or do we want to go with just the Sunday?

I dunno - does anyone know from experience if the organisers would take a table for just one day?

Judging just from their email they seem intent on the three days, you could ask though.
