I have finally got around to writing the new code to allow customers to pick up products from the hobby den in person . As the number of local customers is growing it allows a handy facility for anyone ordering through the website to place an order and not be charged shipping. It is also useful for anyone that places an order and remembers that they need something else after the order is placed . If you use the 0 shipping pick up option and drop me a email if the existing postage covers the extra item I will put it in the package therefore saving on paying postage twice ( It is probably best to check with me that there is spare postage first)

One final advantage is that it stops me forgetting stuff that the guys from the local gaming club want as I have a tendency to do :$ as you guys can now place your orders through the website without paying postage and it will be there in black and white to remind me ^o)

So when it comes to the check out select shipping option 2 Store pick up €o.oo shipping and drop me a note to arrange pick up.

Thomas and I are delighted to announce that Mat-O-War is back in production after a long hiatus. We have a provisional delivery date of November 22nd for the first production batch. As before it will be available in green and desert colours.

I believe that anyone who bought Mat-O-War when it was available will attest to the fact that it is very durable. We have some mats at the GMG that were played on constantly over the last 5 years and are still in perfect condition.

For anyone not familiar with the product check out this short video we made.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA7aQVgTVzg

We have big plans for Mat-O-War with several new products in the pipeline.
We would appreciate it if you guys could spread the word via blogs other forums etc.

As a thank you and to celebrate the re-launch we are running a special introductory price on the first 100 mats sold before November 20th at http://www.thehobbyden.com

The other good news is that we have sorted out worldwide shipping.
The mats will now be shipped boxed and the shipping rates will be as follows for the listed mat sizes

UK AND Europe €8.50
Rest of the World €11.75
